Some of us like to wear them when we are cold outside.
And some of us like to pretend we are maidens with really long locks with scarves. Clare loves pretending to be Rapunzel.

What's slowing me up
First, I present to you the boxes from our old house in Texas.
There are lots of them, a myriad one might say.
Add an beautiful empty townhouse.
Throw in 3 beautiful children, a husband on travel, head colds (one week any way), and the disorder that comes from opening all those neat brown boxes, and you get a mom who doesn't blog very much.
I am going to try to catch up with the old pictures from Texas, and hopefully get a handle on my life here so I can start taking pictures again.
I don't know how you other homeschooling moms do it, but I feel like I've worked 2 full time jobs every night when I fall into bed. Speaking of which, my pillow is calling my name.

Dishes
Our new home's dishwasher is broken. Luckily, since we are renting, the landlord is going to provide us with a new one.
For the past week we have been doing all of the dishes by hand, which is something that I am glad is only a short term thing.
Because it seemed overwhelming the first couple of times I washed and dried a whole load, I enlisted the kids to dry dishes. I thought it was going to be a real pain, but they really rose to the task.
Clare was the only one who didn't like it, and that was only when she was the only one drying. Gregory enjoys drying and often volunteers. Tonight Thomas insisted on getting in on the action too.
Clare was so patient with him, she would give him something small and then finish drying his items when Thomas thought he had finished, but it was still wet. They all worked together as a team, and I actually had a hard time keeping up with them.
I wish I had had my camera. They are such good helpers.

Big Changes
In the past month we have moved from Texas to Virginia, and have begun homeschooling.
I am still working on getting my house unpacked, but I hope to be posting regularly again soon.
